Farmers Group Takes Over First Coffee Processing Plant in La Union
Bagulin: The Baguionas Farmers and Coffee Growers Association (BFCGA) in Barangay Libbo, Bagulin town is now running the first coffee processing facility of La Union. According to Philippines News Agency, the 78-square-meter facility was funded with PHP2.9 million through Republic Act 7171 of the Support for Virginia Tobacco Farmers Act. Construction of the facility began on November 18, 2024, and was completed on May 29 this year, with the deed of donation officially signed on September 4.
