Mabalacat: Authorities have arrested two individuals and seized some PHP75 million worth of suspected shabu during a joint airport interdiction operation at a warehouse at Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat, Pampanga. Manila: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated PHP139.79 million worth of illegal drugs in a series of nationwide operations conducted from August 22 to 29. The operations resulted in significant arrests and drug seizures that marked a concerted effort to combat illegal drug activities across the country. Zamboanga city: Authorities arrested three high-value individuals (HVIs) who evaded a checkpoint and seized approximately PHP605.2 million worth of illegal drugs here on Sunday. The Special Operations Unit-Zamboanga Peninsula (SOU-9) of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) identified the arrested suspects by their aliases Wang Yu, 53; John Michael, 27; and Alshareif, 41.
