Manila: Teams from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) are now assessing two 69kV transmission lines servicing electric cooperatives in the provinces of Bataan and Cagayan de Oro (CDO) after these became unavailable before noon Monday. According to Philippines News Agency, the power transmission operator, in its 1 p.m. advisory, reported that the Alasasin-Mariveles 69kV Line 3, which services the Peninsula Electric Cooperative (PENELCO) in Bataan, became unavailable at around 11:33 a.m. This incident has prompted an ongoing inspection by NGCP teams in the affected areas to determine the cause and extent of the disruption.
