Manila: The government has so far extended some PHP224.5 million worth of assistance to those affected by Severe Tropical Storm Enteng and the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat). In its latest situation update Monday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said this amount of assistance was provided to some 222,392 families out of 416,804 in 10 regions. A total of 741,035 families or 2,787,690 individuals in 2,545 villages in 10 regions have so far been affected by these weather disturbances, the NDRRMC said. Manila: The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Monday Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy would have to face the criminal charges against him, and if convicted, serve prison sentence in the Philippines first before he is turned over to the United States.
