PRO-11 perfecting 3-minute response time on crimes, emergencies

DAVAO: The Police Regional Office in Davao Region (PRO-11) said Tuesday that it continues to strengthen its three-minute response time (3MRT) policy. During the regular Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas forum here, PRO-11 director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III said 3MRT would be limited in urban areas, especially specific zones that are crowded and where traffic is often heavy. ‘We assessed where the 3MRT will be applicable, and generally, it fits in urban areas. BOC probes recycling, resale of seized vapes

MANILA: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Tuesday ordered an investigation into the alleged recycling and resale of seized vape products. In a statement, Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio has directed the Intelligence Group under Deputy Commissioner Juvymax Uy to initiate a comprehensive fact-finding investigation on these items which were recently confiscated and reportedly placed under a ‘safekeeping order’ via a Mission Order. The amount of the vapes is still being verified. He added that the directive also aims to determine any possible involvement of BOC personnel. MAHB’s Airport Maintenance Cost Nationwide Up 34 Pct In 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) airport maintenance cost will rise to 34 per cent in 2024. To ensure that all airports it operated nationwide were well maintained, MAHB’s outgoings for maintenance totalled RM546 million in 2023, the Transport Ministry said.
