Caraga PNP rounds up 41 ‘abusers’ of women, children’s rights

Police arrested last month 41 individuals wanted for violating laws on women and children’s rights, the Police Regional Office – Caraga (PRO-13) reported Wednesday. In a statement, Brig. Gen. Malacañang on Wednesday brushed aside Senator Richard Gordon’s fresh tirade against President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s anti-narcotics drive. BOC-Dumaguete subport Q1 collection hits P1.9 billion

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) sub-port of Dumaguete has exceeded its target for the first quarter of this year, reaching close to PHP2 billion in revenue collection. Gina Fatima Lasola, BOC-Dumaguete subport acting collector, told the Philippine News Agency on Wednesday that their office registered a total actual collection from January to March of about PHP1.949 billion. 81 DTI Negosyo Centers now serving Ilocos MSMEs, stakeholders

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has established and maintained a total of 81 Negosyo (business) Centers in the Ilocos Region as of March 31 this year. Based on the data released by the DTI Ilocos regional office on Tuesday, 19 centers are in Ilocos Norte, 20 in Ilocos Sur, 15 in La Union, and 27 in Pangasinan.
