The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the Caraga Region continues to drop, with only two infections recorded as of Thursday night, the regional health office said. In a report on Friday, the Department of Health – Caraga (DOH-13) said the two new infections were recorded in the towns of Claver and Del Carmen, both in Surigao del Norte. Overall, the region has 67 active Covid-19 cases, bringing the total cumulative number of infections in the area to 58,726. “Also, the total Covid-19 recoveries in Caraga now stand at 56,507 with eight new recoveries recorded on Thursday,” DOH-13
