Hydropower plant project in Ifugao gets BOI nod

The Board of Investments (BOI) has approved the Likud 2 Hydroelectric Power Project of First Ifugao Renewable Energy Corp. that will augment supply of clean energy in Luzon. In a statement Friday, BOI said the company is investing PHP185 million to put up the 0.56-megawatt hydropower plant in Asipulo, Ifugao. The project is expected to create 100 jobs for the construction of the power plant once it starts the commercial operation. AFP logistics chief retires after 34 years of service

Air Force Maj. Gen. Rene S. Diaz, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) deputy chief of staff for logistics or OJ-4, formally retired from the service on Thursday after more than 34 years in service.
