Covid-19 vax for kids aged 5-11 in Taguig starts Feb. 7

The Taguig City government will start vaccinating children aged 5 to 11 years old against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on February 7. Citing the latest data on Thursday, Mayor Lino Cayetano said a total of 9,519 kids belonging to this age group have been pre-registered for vaccination. Zambo City preps to vaccinate kids aged 5 to 11

The city government is setting the stage for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination rollout here for children aged five to 11 years old. Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said Thursday they are waiting for the vaccines suitable for the youngest age group and its appropriate syringes before the rollout can proceed. No date was specified for the rollout. In preparation for the rollout, Miravite said they have started the registration of eligible children, collaborating efforts with the different agencies such as the Department of Education, and setting schedules and preparing a list of vaccination sites, among others.

QC’s Covid-19 positivity rate down to 17% from 25%

Quezon City’s coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections continue to drop, recording a positivity rate of 17 percent this week, down from 25 percent last week. Positivity rate refers to how many of those tested are actually infected. 3 computer gadgets ‘scammers’ nabbed in QC

Authorities arrested three persons for allegedly scamming a computer equipment company of over PHP2.6 million worth of gadgets in an entrapment operation in Quezon City.
