Antiqueños urged to strictly observe health protocols

The Antique Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is urging the public to strictly observe the health protocols as the province remains under Alert Level 3 until the end of month. Antique IATF action officer Margie Gadian said in an interview the national IATF during their meeting on January 20 has not downgraded the alert status of the province because of the continuing rise of Covid-19. “Antique is still under Alert Level 3 beginning today, January 21, to 31,” she said. The Philippine Army (PA) is set to get Indian-made BrahMos medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missiles within the third horizon of the Revised Armed Forces of the Philippines Modernization Program (RAFPMP). “PA’s acquisition of BrahMos is programmed under the 3rd Horizon (Year 2023-2027) of the RAFPMP. Luzon will continue to experience rains due to two weather systems affecting the country the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Friday. In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, PAGASA said the shear line affecting the eastern section of southern Luzon will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Region 4-A (Calabarzon) and Bicol region.
