2 provinces, 4 cities in Caraga log zero Covid-19 cases

The provinces of Surigao del Sur and Surigao del Norte and four cities registered zero coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases on Friday. In a report on Saturday, the Department of Health (DOH) 13 (Caraga) said the cities of Butuan, Surigao, Cabadbaran, and Bislig likewise logged zero infections. Over 298K Zamboangueños now fully vaxxed

Region 2 execs push for HIV awareness as cases rise

Health officials are pushing for more prevention and treatment awareness as 1,279 cases of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) were recorded in Cagayan Valley from September to November. Most of those afflicted with the virus that causes the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) belong to the 25-34-age bracket. The youngest is aged one and the oldest 67 years old.
