Saudi gov’t to settle P4.6-B unpaid OFW salaries in December

The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is expected to pay PHP4.6 billion in unpaid salaries to 9,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who were forced to return home after they stopped receiving remuneration. P5.3-M cocaine, firearm seized in Tawi-Tawi town

Law enforcers have arrested an alleged big-time drug suspect and seized from him a kilogram of cocaine with an estimated street value of PHP5.3 million and an M-16 Armalite rifle in an operation in Pundohan Tapis, Barangay Sipangkot, Sitangkai in Tawi-Tawi on Friday afternoon. Comelec sets Nov. 8 deadline to correct names for official ballot

Aspirants for national and local positions have until the first week of November to file corrections to their names for the May 2022 polls.
