Cebu City ready for regionalized Bar exam: acting mayor

Acting Mayor Michael Rama on Friday said the city is prepared to host the first-ever regional Bar Examination in November this year. PRC labs to undergo quality control assessment

The Department of Health (DOH) regularly monitors all its accredited laboratories, including those operated by the Philippine Red Cross, as part of its quality assurance (QA) control. 12 nuns in Tanay monastery test positive for Covid-19

Twelve out of 18 Carmelite nuns in a monastery in Rizal province have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). In a statement dated September 23, the cases at the Tanay Carmelite Monastery are mild. The facility asked for prayers from the public. “We are 18 Sisters in the monastery and 12 Sisters were tested positive of Covid,” the statement read. “At present, we can be considered as mild cases and symptomatic. NegOr logs 193 more recoveries from Covid-19

The province of Negros Oriental has recorded 193 more recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) amid a continuing spike in infections. Assistant Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Liland Estacion, said in a virtual presser on Friday that apart from the latest recoveries, 469 new cases were also reported. 14-day movement restriction up in Siargao town

The municipality of San Benito in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte is imposing a 14-day restriction of movements among its residents and individuals who wish to enter the town amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Soccsksargen Covid-19 recoveries top 40K

A total of 40,386 patients have so far recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in Region 12 (Soccsksargen), the Department of Health -12 here said in an update.
