Twelve out of 18 Carmelite nuns in a monastery in Rizal province have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). In a statement dated September 23, the cases at the Tanay Carmelite Monastery are mild. The province of Negros Oriental has recorded 193 more recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) amid a continuing spike in infections. The municipality of San Benito in Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte is imposing a 14-day restriction of movements among its residents and individuals who wish to enter the town amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
