Agriculture Secretary William Dar on Thursday called on the private sector to continue investing in Mindanao’s long-term development. “Mindanao is a veritable food basket of the Philippines considering its substantial contribution to the country’s agri-fishery sector. PH e-vehicle industry growth hinges on gov’t measures

The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) is still optimistic with the growth of the industry as long as key government policies will be in place. The country will experience fair weather with isolated rains caused by thunderstorms Friday, a weather forecaster said. “Fair weather will prevail across Luzon. One should still bring an umbrella because of isolated rains, especially in the afternoon and evening,” Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said. Passports for pick-up at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Aseana will be released at the Double Dragon Plaza in Pasay City starting Sept. 24.
