As the Malampaya natural gas field is drying up, Mindanao might have the indigenous energy resources to energize the country. BFAR helps boost mussel production in Bataan

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) regional office here on Thursday provided fisherfolk in Bataan with some equipment that could help boost the production of mussels in the province. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is pushing for the inclusion of the newly rehabilitated and expanded airport here as among the alternate gateways for returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and international travelers. A total of 1,327 community health workers and farmers on Thursday received cash and relief grants from the provincial government under the “Handog Pasasalamat” program in Barangay Malabuan here.
