Arevalo steps down as AFP spox, training command chief

Edgard Arevalo on Friday formally stepped down as commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (AFPETDC) and military spokesperson. BFAR-7 seizes P7.26-M live corals in Cebu town

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Central Visayas (BFAR-7) on Saturday said it intercepted illegally shipped live corals worth PHP7.26 million at the Hagnaya Port in San Remegio town, northern Cebu. Diarrhea outbreak hits DavNor village

Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte Mayor Ernesto Evangelista declared a diarrhea outbreak in Barangay Tulalian on Friday. In a statement on Saturday, the Municipal Information Office (MIO) said the declaration was due to the death of a resident while 47 others were confined in various public and private hospitals.
