Hanoi: The third edition of the 'Suc song hang Viet' (Vitality of Vietnamese Goods) showcase and livestream programme officially opened on March 20 at 62 Trang Tien in Hanoi under the theme 'Vietnamese youth proud of Vietnamese goods'. The event, organised by the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development in coordination with the Hoan Kiem ward People's Committee, TikTok Shop, and the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam, aims to support enterprises in promoting and selling products while expanding digital distribution channels. It also forms part of activities marking the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2026).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the programme seeks to bolster the presence of Vietnamese goods in the market by leveraging modern digital platforms. The collaboration with TikTok Shop highlights the integration of social media into traditional commerce, providing businesses with innovative avenues to reach a broader audience. The National Payment Corporation of Vietnam's involvement ensures that digital payment solutions are at the forefront of this initiative, facilitating seamless transactions for both consumers and businesses.
This year's theme, 'Vietnamese youth proud of Vietnamese goods', underscores the importance of engaging the younger generation in supporting domestic products. It aims to foster a sense of pride and responsibility among young consumers towards locally made goods. The showcase is not only a commercial venture but also a cultural movement, celebrating the achievements and potential of Vietnamese enterprises.
The event is expected to draw significant attention from various stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and consumers, all aligning towards a common goal of enhancing the domestic market's vitality. By providing a platform for enterprises to display their products and engage with consumers directly, the programme aims to stimulate economic growth and innovation within the country.
