According to Philippines News Agency, Game 2 is set at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday at the same Bulacan venue. Ericjay Tangub bounced back from a first-set loss to prevail over Loucas Fernandez, 4-6, 7-6, 7-5. Tangub expressed that this initial victory would boost their confidence for the next game, reducing pressure and leveraging their experience from four Finals appearances.
Tangub shared his coach Johnny Arcilla's advice to enjoy the match despite early setbacks, stating that his mindset was to do his best regardless of the outcome. Evan Bacalso outplayed Miguel Iglupas, 6-4, 7-6(3), while Christopher Sonsona survived Lance Fernandez, 6-7 (3), 7-6(4), 6-1, contributing to the team's overall triumph.
