Catanduanes: The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Bicol (DSWD-5) has initiated a significant relief operation, distributing 10,000 family food packs to residents of Catanduanes impacted by the recent shear line and Tropical Storm Ada.

According to Philippines News Agency, Claudio Villareal, the head of the DSWD-5 Disaster Response Management Division, stated in an interview that efforts are also underway to provide food packs to residents in Camarines Sur. The Bicol office has a stockpile of 140,785 family food packs prepared for further distribution, with additional support from 16,200 packs supplied by the Visayas Disaster Resource Center.
