SAFE Loan Now Accessible to Pag-IBIG Members in Antique

Antique: Members of the Pag-IBIG Fund in Antique can now avail of an emergency cash loan, designed especially to cushion the impact of the conflict in the Middle East. Antique branch manager Donald Alton Cahilo announced that the Special Assistance for Financial Emergencies (SAFE) loan offers up to a maximum of PHP10,000 to qualified members.

According to Philippines News Agency, Cahilo mentioned that there are around 23,000 Pag-IBIG Fund members in Antique, most of whom may be interested in applying for this financial assistance. The loan assistance program was rolled out on June 11 and will continue to be available until September 8.

Members interested in applying for the SAFE loan need only their Pag-IBIG Fund Loyalty Card Plus and a valid identification card. The application process is convenient, allowing members to apply either online or by visiting the nearest Pag-IBIG Fund branch. Once approved, the loan amount will be credited to their Loyalty Card Plus within the day or up to three working days.

The loan carries an interest rate of 5.95 percent per annum and includes a repayment grace period of three months, providing a much-needed financial respite for those affected by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
