PHLPost Unveils Special Stamps for Supreme Court’s 125th Anniversary

Manila: The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has released special commemorative stamps and official first day cover to mark the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

According to Philippines News Agency, the commemorative issue features a specialized layout by its in-house artist Jose Antonio Jayme, based on a design conceptualized by Rancho Arcilla. Arcilla is a cultural worker, architectural historian, and archivist from the Office of the Spokesperson of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court indicated that the issue serves as a lasting symbol of the judiciary's enduring role in safeguarding democracy, protecting constitutional rights, and upholding the principles that have guided the nation for generations.

The 125th Anniversary of the Supreme Court commemorative stamps and official first day covers are now available to philatelists, history enthusiasts, and the general public. The items can be purchased at the Post Shop inside the Manila Central Post Office Compound at Liwasang Bonifacio, Magallanes Drive, Ermita, as well as the Supreme Court Gift Shop located at the Main Building along Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.
