Manila: The Philippine government is gearing up to host its 4th national tourism job fair, designed for Filipinos aspiring to join the tourism and travel sector, scheduled from October 9 to 11. The event, known as the 2025 Trabaho, Turismo, Asenso! Philippine Tourism Job Fair, will take place at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City and is jointly organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
According to Philippines News Agency, the DOT announced that more than 50 tourism employers are expected to participate in this event, providing thousands of job opportunities across various tourism-related fields. In previous editions of the job fair, over 21,000 tourism-related positions were offered to Filipino applicants.
The initiative, which was launched in 2022, aims to support and connect job seekers, including recent graduates, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) scholars, and displaced workers, with employment opportunities in the tourism and related sectors. This year’s job fair will coincide with the 16th Hotel and Foodservice Suppliers Show, which is anticipated to offer additional prospects for career advancement and networking for participating applicants.
