Manila: The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. in Caraga Region, known as PhilHealth-13, disbursed PHP525.43 million in claims to partner health facilities in August. This payout was made to cover 40,410 processed claims from health facilities across the region.

According to Philippines News Agency, PhilHealth-13 achieved an average claims processing time of 6.72 days last month, which is faster than the national average of 10.25 days. The regional office indicated that it remains committed to supporting healthcare providers and ensuring the delivery of universal health care across the region.

Officials attributed the successful performance to the agency's dedication to providing responsive and timely service. The statement highlighted gratitude towards healthcare partners for their continued collaboration in providing accessible, reliable, and efficient financial medical protection for every Caraganon.
