PhilHealth-Caraga Disburses PHP483-M to Healthcare Facilities in May

Butuan city: The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. 13 (Caraga Region) continued to advance the government's Universal Health Care program through the prompt release of payments to healthcare facilities (HCFs) across the region in May.

According to Philippines News Agency, PhilHealth-13 disbursed PHP483.64 million to HCFs last month, covering 39,143 processed claims. The agency also achieved an impressive average turnaround time (TAT) of 6.04 days for claim processing during this period, significantly outperforming the national average TAT of 10.13 days.

The agency expressed gratitude to its healthcare partners, noting, "We thank our healthcare partners for their continued synergy as we work together to provide accessible, reliable, and efficient financial medical protection for every Caraganon."

In comparison, during April, PhilHealth-13 released PHP557.40 million to HCFs, covering 43,233 claims, with a 6.5-day TAT, surpassing the national average of 11.12 days for claim processing.
