PH Carriers Cancel 6 Middle East Flights on Tuesday

Manila: Six flights scheduled on Tuesday, March 3, have been canceled by local carriers Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific (CEB) due to the evolving situation in the Middle East. These flights are CEB's 5J 14/15 Manila-Dubai-Manila and PAL's PR 685 Doha-Manila, PR 684 Manila-Doha, and PR 654/655 Manila-Riyadh-Manila.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Gokongwei-led carrier CEB is offering flexible options for passengers who wish to postpone their travel. Passengers traveling to and from Dubai can avail of these options until March 8, while those traveling to and from Riyadh have until March 9. The options include free rebooking and travel fund conversion.

PAL passengers affected by the cancellations have the option to rebook or request a refund. Additionally, PAL has also announced the cancellation of flight PR 685 Doha-Manila scheduled for March 4. The airline advises its passengers to check the status of their flights and any advisories through its website, app, and social media channels.
