Palace Declares April Holidays in Five Areas

Manila: Malaca±ang declared five special non-working days in April to allow local communities to celebrate their founding anniversaries. Under Proclamation No. 1204, April 1 is a special non-working day in Agdangan, Quezon.

According to Philippines News Agency, this is followed by April 6 in Rizal, Occidental Mindoro (Proclamation No. 1202), and April 7 in the Mountain Province (Proclamation No. 1203). Meanwhile, April 11 is a special non-working day under Proclamation No. 1200 in Quezon province's Dolores town, which will mark its 191st founding anniversary.

On April 27, the municipality of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) in Rizal province will also observe a special non-working day for its 155th founding anniversary, pursuant to Proclamation No. 1201. The declarations aim to give residents the full opportunity to participate in their respective local celebrations and commemorative activities.
