Manila: The Land Transportation Office's (LTO) online system experienced a disruption on Wednesday due to technical issues, leading to the suspension of several online and office services.

According to Philippines News Agency, the LTO announced through a social media advisory that its Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) is currently offline. This has affected the renewal of driver's licenses, vehicle registration, and all related ancillary services. The advisory urged the public to temporarily suspend their transactions and to await official updates from the agency.

The LTO assured the public that another advisory will be issued once the LTMS is back online and services are restored. The LTMS is the LTO's digital platform designed to streamline and centralize all services into one online interface.

The online portal can be accessed at https://portal.lto.gov.ph/, which currently displays a message indicating "scheduled maintenance in progress."
