Legazpi City Leads Palarong Bicol 2026 Medal Tally with 26 Golds

The Department of Education in Bicol (DepEd-5) bared Wednesday that based on partial and unofficial results, the delegation of Legazpi City continues to dominate the medal standings in the ongoing Palarong Bicol 2026.

According to Philippines News Agency, in the overall regular sports category, Legazpi City has so far bagged 26 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze medals, placing it at the top of the leaderboard. Naga City follows with 16 gold, 24 silver, and 16 bronze medals, while Albay and Camarines Sur each have 13 gold medals.

In the elementary division, Legazpi City leads with 19 gold medals, along with nine silvers and one bronze. Camarines Sur is in second place with nine gold, four silver, and two bronze, while Ligao City has seven gold, nine silver, and six bronze.

In the secondary division, Naga City tops with 15 gold, 19 silver, and 10 bronze medals, followed by Albay with nine gold, four silver, and seven bronze, a nd Sorsogon province with eight gold, eight silver, and eight bronze.

In the Paragames category, Camarines Sur has emerged as the frontrunner with six gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. Iriga City follows with five gold, one silver, and three bronze, while Sorsogon City has two gold and one silver.
