Laguna: The provincial government has introduced free telemedicine services through the newly launched GOB SOL App, a digital platform designed to offer medical consultations, e-prescriptions, and medicines.
According to Philippines News Agency, the app is currently available for Android users and aims to enhance healthcare accessibility. Starting November 10, residents of San Pablo, Calamba, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, Los Ba±os, and Mabitac can access these services, with plans for expansion to other regions in the future.
The app allows users to register, book online consultations, and receive digital prescriptions for complimentary medicines under the Akay ni Gob Botika program. Governor Sol Aragones showcased the app’s functionality during the launch event. Online consultations with specialists will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Governor Aragones expressed her commitment to improving Laguna’s healthcare system, describing the initiative as “a step toward a stronger, more responsive provincial health system.” Furthermore, she announced the opening of nine additional Akay ni Gob Botika outlets, increasing the total to 15 community pharmacies throughout the province.
