Manila: Most parts of the country will continue to get drenched with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tuesday. According to Philippines News Agency, the southwest monsoon will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms across the Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, and Zambales. These regions could experience moderate to heavy rains, which may result in flash floods or landslides. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. PAGASA has forecasted moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas throughout northern Luzon. In other areas, winds will be light to moderate, with slight to moderate seas. Meanwhile, PAGASA reported that as of 2 a.m., no low pressure area is being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation.
