Manila: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Wednesday announced the passing of its former spokesperson, James Arthur Jimenez. He was 52.

The poll body noted that Jimenez, whose cause of death was not disclosed, was the longest-serving and youngest spokesperson in the government when he was appointed.
