Manila: Fair weather conditions will continue to prevail across most parts of the country on Sunday, with isolated rainshowers caused by the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
According to Philippines News Agency, in its 24-hour weather forecast, the state weather bureau detailed that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies. These conditions will be accompanied by isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms driven by easterly winds.
The easterlies, warm winds originating from the Pacific Ocean, are currently influencing the country's weather patterns. While they bring generally dry and warm conditions, they also cause occasional rain showers.
PAGASA indicated that the fair weather is expected to persist over the next three to five days. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6°C at 3 p.m., with the minimum dropping to 24.6°C at 6 a.m.
