Iloilo city: A former barangay tanod (village watchman) and his wife were arrested by authorities during a drug bust operation in Barangay San Juan, Molo District on Wednesday afternoon. The suspects, identified as alias Alter, 53, and alias Maria, 52, have been labeled as high-value targets and are residents of the barangay.
According to Philippines News Agency, the operation was led by the Iloilo City Police Station 4, which seized approximately 150 grams of suspected shabu. The confiscated drugs carry an estimated street value of PHP1.02 million. Iloilo City Police Director Col.
