Duty Free Philippines Launches Extensive April Weekend Sale

Manila: Duty Free Philippines Corporation (DFPC) is launching a significant sale event, offering up to 20 percent discounts every weekend throughout April in a strategic effort to boost airport retail sales this summer.

According to Philippines News Agency, the sale will take place at various retail locations including Duty Free stores at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3, Clark, Fiesta Mall, and Luxe Duty Free. The "Travel Fest: A Summer Special 2026" campaign also includes various in-store promotions, such as 'gift-with-purchase offers' available at select Mactan-Cebu International Airport terminals on all Saturdays and Sundays in April.

DFPC highlighted in a news release on Thursday that the Travel Fest emphasizes a more deliberate and experience-driven approach to travel retail. The initiative aims to adapt to changing travel conditions while enhancing the overall airport experience for both Filipino and international travelers.

In addition to discounts, limited-edition scarves from a special artist collaboration with Kulas will be available at Luxe Duty Free on Fridays to Sundays from April 10 to 26. This exclusive gift is part of Duty Free Philippines' 'Gift of Art' initiative, which showcases locally inspired designs, enriching the Filipino travel retail experience.

Customers who spend a minimum of USD150 in a single-day transaction from April 15 to 30 will qualify for an entry in Duty Free Philippines' Travel Fest Summer Raffle. Prizes include overnight stays at partner hotels such as Clark Hilton Sun Valley Resort, Vivere Hotel and Resorts, Azure, Amari The Inn at El Nido, Parque Espa±a Residence Hotel, and Taal Vista Hotel. Additionally, shoppers who spend a minimum of USD250 on select fashion brands like Coach and Bric's will receive double raffle entries. The raffle draw is scheduled for May 1 at Luxe Duty Free.

As an attached agency of the Department of Tourism, DFPC plays a pivotal role in generating revenues to support tourism development.
