Manila: There will be no consular operations at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and its offices nationwide on Aug. 31 in observance of National Heroes Day. The agency, in an advisory on Wednesday, reminded the public that its DoubleDragon Releasing Units are likewise closed and will resume operations on Sept. 1.

According to Philippines News Agency, the DFA stated that applicants who need emergency or urgent consular services may still reach its concerned divisions through the official website. Additionally, the DFA provided email contacts for specific concerns, including OCA, passport, authentication, visa, civil registry, and diplomatic and official passport inquiries.
