Constantino Clinches ICTSI Caliraya Women’s Title with Commanding Performance

Caviti: Harmie Constantino ruled the ICTSI Caliraya Springs Championship in Caviti, Laguna, to re-establish herself as the undisputed force of the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour.

According to Philippines News Agency, Constantino braved erratic weather to post a six-stroke victory over Mafy Singson with a closing 68. She dominated the back nine, hitting back-to-back birdies from No. 10 to build an eight-shot lead. Her birdie on the 17th for the third consecutive day sealed her six-stroke win. Constantino's 10-under 206 total earned her PHP130,000.

"It's nice that I got to enjoy the last round without any pressure. I was only focusing on myself and didn't even notice how the other players were doing. My entire focus was simply on how I wanted to play and how I wanted to finish my round," said Constantino, reflecting on her victory that ended a year-long slump.

Singson closed out with back-to-back birdies for a score of 70, finishing at 212, and received P85,000. Tiffany Lee carded a 71 to secure third place at 215, earning PHP72,000. Meanwhile, reigning Order Of Merit champion Sarah Ababa charged back with a 68 for fourth place at 216, while Yvon Bisera finished with a 73, tying for fifth at 217 with Seoyun Kim, who faltered with a 74.

Junior golfer Mona Sarines took the low amateur honors with a 225 after a third straight 75. Constantino expressed optimism about her newfound mindset, stating that her mental game has significantly improved since 2024. She highlighted the positive change in her approach and expressed hope for a better year ahead.
