Cebu: A lone bettor from Cebu won the PHP100-million jackpot in Tuesday night's Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Wednesday that the bettor guessed the winning numbers 29-52-49-55-25-09. The winning ticket was bought in Cebu City.
According to Philippines News Agency, the winner has one year to claim the PHP100,331,631.91 prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City; otherwise, it will be forfeited. Winnings above PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax.
Five other bettors won PHP300,000 each for matching five numbers, while 370 participants will receive PHP3,783.78 for four matches. Additionally, 8,862 bettors will get PHP100 for three matches. Ultra Lotto 6/58 draws are held every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
PCSO encouraged the public to support its games, noting that much of the revenue funds government charity programs.
