KUALA LUMPUR, The search and rescue (SAR) operation for the victim of a sinkhole at Jalan Masjid India here resumed this morning, after being postponed at 7.30 pm yesterday, due to heavy rain. KOTA BHARU, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Sri Kiambang in Pasir Mas has developed an innovative organic fertiliser using just four waste materials – vegetable scraps, sugarcane bagasse, brown sugar and yeast. Teacher Nik Azira Raja Hassan said the fertiliser, named ‘Kiambang Super Organik,’ was created by six Form 5 Science students as part of their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curriculum. ‘This fertiliser not only enhances plant growth but also improves livestock health, reduces odours in animal pens and supports plant photosynthesis, thereby enriching the soil. ‘The production process is efficient, taking around three months.
