SEPANG, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon arrived in Malaysia today for a three-day official visit. This is Luxon’s first visit to Malaysia since taking office as Prime Minister in November 2023. Luxon, who arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1) here on a commercial flight, was met by Deputy Digital Minister Datuk Wilson Ugak Anak Kumbong at the Bunga Raya Complex at 7.55 pm. KUALA LUMPUR, The police will continue to monitor and patrol the sinkhole area at Jalan Masjid India here periodically after the search and rescue operation switched to the search and recovery phase yesterday. KOTA BHARU, Sept 1 (Bernama ) — A 65-year-old man was found dead in an artificial swamp in Kampung Beta Hulu, Nilam Puri, Ketereh here this morning. Ketereh Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander Hasri Husin, said they received a distress call via the MERS 999 system at about 10 am and nine members were dispatched to the scene. The victim, Fakhrurazi Mamat, who lived in Kampung Belukar Beta Hulu, Ketereh, had gone to his garden the previous evening but did not return home after 6.30 pm. KUALA LUMPUR, Police are on the hunt for a man with the title ‘Datuk Seri’ to assist in investigations into a human trafficking case in Myanmar, which also allegedly involves a politician and her husband. SIBU, Sarawak has allocated over RM1.1 million to cover the maintenance costs of six missionary schools in the Sibu and Sarikei Divisions.
