MANILA – Telecommunications firm Globe on Wednesday reported that a significant chunk of all cable thefts in the country occurred in the Greater Manila Area (GMA) in the first half of 2024, followed by the Visayas and Southern Luzon. In a report on Wednesday, the telecommunications giant said there was an average of 245 cable theft incidents per month in the first half of the year, with a total of 1,472 cases across the country.
