Ringgit Continues Rally For 10th Straight Day, Ends At 14-month High Versus US Dollar

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit continued its rally for the 10th day today, hitting a 14-month high of RM4.49 against the greenback at the close as anticipation for a United States (US) rate cut gained momentum, said an analyst. RAHMAH Rebate For Media Practitioners’ August Mobile Bills

KUALA LUMPUR: Media practitioners will receive a one-off rebate on their mobile phone bills for August, in conjunction with the National Month celebrations. The Ministry of Communications, in a statement today said the RAHMAH Rebate Incentive for media practitioners, introduced in 2023, will continue this year, as announced by Minister Fahmi Fadzil during the National Journalists’ Day (HAWANA) 2024 celebration in May. ‘This incentive is available to Malaysian media practitioners who hold a media accreditation card (that is not expired) issued by the Malaysian Information Department (JaPen) and are subscribed to a postpaid plan with a participating telecommunication companies (telcos).

Decarbonisation Roadmap For Aviation To Be Launched In September – Loke

PUTRAJAYA, A National Decarbonisation Roadmap for Aviation will be launched in September, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke. He said the roadmap would act as a policy guideline and a way forward for decarbonisation involving airlines and airport operators, as well as the adoption of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). “It will encompass a few sectors and elements towards decarbonisation,” he said at the Transport Ministry’s monthly assembly here today. GX Bank Records Over 750,000 Customers, 13 Mln Transactions Since Its Launch

PETALING JAYA, Malaysia’s first digital banking services provider GX Bank Bhd has recorded over 750,000 customers who have opened over 800,000 ‘savings pockets’ or wallets.
