DENR, N. Ecija village leaders tie up on environmental protection

The Department of Environment and National Resources (DENR) regional office here has partnered with the Liga ng mga Barangay in Nueva Ecija to engage local communities in solid waste management and river protection. SMC aims to inoculate 35K employees in 5 weeks

Over 35,000 employees and extended workforce of San Miguel Corporation (SMC) will receive their first dose of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines in the next five weeks, as the company fast-tracks its “Ligtas lahat” vaccination program following the delivery of the first tranche of AstraZeneca vaccines secured by the company last year through a tripartite agreement with the government. SMC president Ramon S. Ang said the company had already delivered an initial 26,700 doses to various provinces where it operates.
