Central luzon: The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) apprehended all top 10 regional most wanted persons over the past two days, an official said Tuesday.
According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez reported that nine of those arrested are rape suspects, while one individual was apprehended for violating the Anti-Child Pornography Act. Mendez emphasized that this operation is not an isolated success but rather a demonstration of the culture being cultivated within PRO-3, characterized by focused execution, coordinated intelligence, and immediate action.
Mendez highlighted that the campaign against wanted persons is a top operational priority, particularly concerning serious crimes that impact community safety and the protection of vulnerable sectors. He reiterated that under the PNP Focused Agenda, the mandate is clear: decisive enforcement, strengthened internal discipline, and measurable results. He stated that their commitment to pursuing wanted persons is relentless.
PRO-3 is set to continue enhancing its warrant service operations by improving case monitoring systems and fostering stronger coordination among police units.
