Bicol: Police in Bicol arrested 104 wanted persons during a weeklong operation that ended Saturday, authorities reported Tuesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Police Regional Office-5 (PRO-5) announced that the arrests from January 19 to 25 included one regional-level fugitive, eight at the provincial level, seven at the city level, nine at the municipal level, and 79 additional fugitives.

Brig. Gen. Erosito Miranda, acting regional director of PRO-5, attributed the success of the operation to the Enhanced Managing Police Operations strategy. He emphasized the commitment of the police to public safety and justice, stating, "The successful arrest of these wanted persons reflects our strong commitment to public safety and justice."

Miranda also stated that the unit remains dedicated to locating offenders and ensuring they are brought before the courts.
