Cotabato city: The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) reported a peaceful and orderly observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day, commonly known as Undas, with no major incidents occurring throughout the region, as confirmed by local police on Sunday.

According to Philippines News Agency, Brig. Gen. Jayzen De Guzman, the regional director of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, attributed the success of the event to effective community cooperation and inter-agency coordination. The strategic deployment of thousands of police personnel was a crucial factor in maintaining security around cemeteries, transport terminals, and major thoroughfares during the observance.

De Guzman further emphasized the invaluable support received from local government units, barangay officials, and civic volunteers, who collaborated closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and orderliness of the event. In an interview, he stated, “The peaceful observance of Undas 2025 is a testament to the collective effort of our communities and partner agencies.”
