Manila: The Supreme Court (SC) announced that a total of 5,594 examinees passed the 2025 Bar Examinations, resulting in a passing rate of 48.98 percent. SC Associate Justice Amy Lazaro Javier, who chaired the 2025 Bar Examinations, confirmed that the oath-taking and roll signing ceremonies for the successful examinees are scheduled for February 6 at the Philippine Arena.
According to Philippines News Agency, the Bar Examinations took place on September 7, 10, and 14 of the previous year across 14 local testing centers nationwide. Jhenroniel Rhey Timola Sanchez, a graduate of the University of the Philippines, topped the exams with an overall rating of 92.70 percent.
The list of Bar passers who obtained the top 20 highest grades includes Spinel Albert Allauigan Declaro from the University of Santo Tomas Manila with 92.4625 percent, and Alaiza Agatep Adviento, also from the University of Santo Tomas Manila, with 91.9125 percent. Other notable passers are Angelica De Castro Mitra from De La Salle-Lipa, Marc Angelo Galvez Santos from the University of Santo Tomas Manila, and Jeowy Loyloy Ompad from the University of San Jose Recoletos.
Enrico Gabriel Reyes Paguia from Ateneo de Manila University achieved a score of 91.2500 percent alongside Jeowy Loyloy Ompad. Johann Raphael Silapan Gata from the University of Santo Tomas Manila scored 90.9000 percent, while Marie Shantelle Atienza Sarmiento from the University of the Philippines scored 90.8750 percent.
Other high scorers include Richmond Bulan Lucas from the University of La Salette Inc, Jusmin Teriann Afable Yap from the University of the Philippines, and Allan Leo Tabuco Paran from Arellano University. Additional top scorers are Patric Kiel Quiroz Navarro from the University of the East and Alfrancis Bagadiong Cabungcal from the University of the Philippines.
