Manila: The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) has arrested 332 individuals for various violations during the first quarter of 2026.
According to Philippines News Agency, the PNP-ACG revealed that the arrests were made during the execution of 337 cyber warrants from January 1 to March 31. Of the total arrests, 119 were made through the service of warrants, 205 through entrapment operations, and eight during the execution of warrants to search, seize, and examine computer data.
In addition to the arrests, the ACG referred 593 cases, conducted 7,129 cyber patrolling activities, and completed 226 digital forensic examinations. The first quarter operations also saw the rescue of 74 victims and the conviction of 143 individuals.
PNP-ACG chief Brig. Gen. Wilson Asueta stated, "The PNP ACG is steadfast in its mission to fortify cyber intelligence, sharpen investigative and forensic capabilities, intensify cyber patrols, and expand public awareness programs to effectively address emerging cyber threats."
