According to Philippines News Agency, the payouts for beneficiaries from all 24 barangays are scheduled to continue until March 7, as stated by City Social Welfare and Development Office head Leah Pilipina Canayon. Beneficiaries are encouraged to seek assistance from their respective barangays if they encounter any issues before arriving at the distribution venue to ensure they have the necessary documents completed.

On the initial day of distribution, 1,568 severely affected beneficiaries from various villages, along with 1,011 slightly affected beneficiaries from Barangay Tabunan, were anticipated to receive the aid. Households with destroyed homes are receiving PHP10,325 each, while those with damaged homes are being provided PHP5,369 each.

Data from the DSWD - Negros Island Region revealed that by March 2, the total ECT disbursement had reached PHP574.96 million since the payout began on February 12. The funds have been distributed to 85,990 beneficiaries across the municipalities of Hinigaran, Isabela, La Castellana, and San Enrique, as well as the cities of Himamaylan and La Carlota in Negros Occidental, and Canlaon in Negros Oriental.

The DSWD-NIR stated that the ECT program is designed to offer immediate financial support to affected families, aiding their basic needs and recovery. This initiative aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to expedite government assistance to disaster victims, ensuring no one is left behind in the recovery process.
