Manila: At least three persons were arrested last week for selling illegal firecrackers online, the Philippine National Police-Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) reported on Monday. Wilson Asueta stated that the arrests led to the confiscation of PHP10,550 worth of prohibited firecrackers. LTO Impounds 30 Luxury Vehicles in 1 Week

Manila: The Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced on Monday that 30 of its 39 impounded units last week were luxury vehicles. The unregistered vehicles were intercepted in various areas in Metro Manila. Verification with the Bureau of Customs is underway. “We found that these vehicles are not registered or the drivers have no licenses,” LTO chief, Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao, said in a video posted on LTO’s social media page. PNP Seizes PHP93 Million in Drugs, Arrests Over 1,000 Suspects in Week-Long Operation

Manila: Police operatives seized PHP93 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 1,057 suspects during a series of operations from Nov. 23 to 30, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported on Monday.
