Manila: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is planning to expand the reach of Project Aruga, a community-based initiative that supports children with disabilities and their families through financial assistance and other support services. Basilan: The Philippine Army has officially renamed two of its infantry brigades in ceremonies held in the provinces of Basilan and Lanao del Sur. According to Philippines News Agency, the Basilan-based 101st Infantry Brigade (IBde) has been renamed the 1101st Infantry Brigade, while the Lanao del Sur-based 1101st IBde is now called the 101st IBde.
